Tamer Hassan is co-founder and Executive Chairman of HUMAN, named one of TIME100’s Most Influential Companies in 2023 because of its mission to stop cyber fraud across the full digital journey. Under Hassan’s leadership, HUMAN has solidified itself as a disrupter in the cybersecurity industry for uncovering and executing multiple large-scale takedowns. He played a key role in the takedowns of major ad fraud operations such as Methbot and the 3ve botnet - leading to unprecedented federal indictments and convictions. Most recently, he was named one of Campaign’s 2023 40 Over 40. Additionally, in 2019 he was recognized for his disruption efforts by being named The #1 Most Creative Person in Business by Fast Company Magazine as well as one of Ad Age’s 40 Under 40. Before his career in fighting cybercrime, he was protecting his country as a major in the U.S. Air Force where he completed multiple combat deployments in Iraq and Afghanistan as a decorated Combat Search and Rescue helicopter pilot and Tactical Officer. Hassan resides in New York with his wife and fellow entrepreneur, three mischievous children and his many pets - a dog, a cat, and a bird.
