Kirsten Canton

General Counsel
Kirsten Canton has nearly two decades of experience working on strategic company initiatives such as technology transactions, employment, corporate governance, finance, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and international law. She’s currently HUMAN’s General Counsel and sits on the executive leadership team where she helps fight the biggest threat to the internet: cybercrime. Kirsten focuses on all legal matters for HUMAN including compliance, risk management, and contracts. Prior to HUMAN Kirsten led the legal and compliance department at Andela, a global technical talent marketplace. She also worked at Yodle, an ad tech company acquired by Web.com, and at law firms Stroock & Stroock & Lavan and Chadbourne & Parke. Kirsten is a proud Columbia Law Alum and is a passionate advocate for women in leadership roles. She’s excited to support HUMAN through this next phase of growth.
